I'm a vibrant soul who thrives on the expressive power of art, living for the joy that creating and sharing it brings. I enjoy artistic expression, including painting, drawing, and DIY projects, and find fulfillment in art workshops. I find fulfillment in guiding and inspiring others and creating a therapeutic environment for creativity.

With me, art becomes more than pigments on canvas; it's a shared breath, a collective heartbeat, a portal to a world where stress surrenders to imagination's intoxicating embrace. In my hands, art becomes a tool for connection and a remedy for life's pressures, as I generously share my skills and enthusiasm with those around me.

2nd attempt with clay. I've enjoyed having a new medium to play with.I started doing art for first time since school during 'lockdown' .I was in a 40 year abusive relationship and it helped me cope.I left my home in '22, was homeless for 6 months and art helped me while living in hostels. I got my own flat now and joined a community art group.Queens Cross Community Art Group, you can see it on Facebook. Thanks Jan

I started painting on slates as a way of creating art on a natural surface a good way to upcycle old slates. My preferred medium is oils and discovered it suited the slate. I varnish them for protection and use yacht varnish for pieces that will be outside. Initially, Robins were a popular subject as memorial pieces for loved ones but soon went on to other subjects including highland cows, stags and dogs which led me to this piece. ?Slinky? is pet portrait commissioned by a friend as a gift fo

An experiment using soft pastels on stretched canvas. The texture of the canvas lent itself to the pastels quite well. The image is based on a photo taken by a friend visiting Venice, Italy. By using more vibrant colors than the original, I believe it became more magical.

I'm new to oils and painting, I would say my style would be fine art and surrealism, no rules and I can escape, experiment and have fun. I painted this scene as I'd came across a beautiful photo of calla Lilly valley in California, I use the idea but made it my ownwith the colours and changed parts of it, I like the perspective and the enchanting mysterious vibe it gave. Returned to art almost a year ago, still finding my way, but determined, excited and fully motivated to reach my potential,

I was at The Starfish Restaurant when I captured this view on a cold day in Bradenton Florida from the dock behind the restaurant. I was fascinated by the light coming from one of the boats and the gas pump. The photograph helped me to produce this oil painting when I got home in Ohio.
