Fabulous time had by my group. I must say your choice of Facilitator was spot on. Joelle made everyone feel included and comfortable. Joelle was a great person to handle every level of student experience and confidence. Joelle was attentive to each persons needs. Her keen eye and the artistic knowledge of art techniques and suggestions actually transformed my attempts. I?m grateful to acquire new skill. In a short time. I felt she was generous with her time and no one was left behind. I would definitely book with Joelle again.

ARTISTS
Paul Cunningham
Now in my 60's, I've been drawing and painting from childhood. On that basis and with a lot of experience, I have something to offer, both as an artist and as a tutor.
Regarding the latter, my approach is to encourage, enable and collaborate with students in producing the work they want to produce and develop, while, at the same time, putting at their disposal my knowledge of art and art history in the hope that something from my own decades of practice might prove to be interesting or useful to the student.

I'm a very good drawer and for those interested in drawing you will find that I have much to offer by way of advice and through demonstration. I love painting and my house is filled with them! I work in oils, acrylics, watercolours and, more often than not, I end up mixing some or all of these media together and often with pencil, crayon and pens for good measure. I'm still learning and for that reason I continue to improve. In fact, I often announce that my current project is the the best thing I've ever done and, when it's finished, I change it again! In art, there is much to discover but, in the end, there are no unbreakable rules. That's my attitude and I hope that students will find it to be friendly, encouraging of creativity, productive and rewarding.

?Dumy? is a deep reflection on life and destiny, our fears, worries, and the constant search for answers. It is about the past we cannot fully let go of and the future we are sometimes afraid of. At the same time, the bright colours remind us that not everything unknown is dark ? sometimes something vivid and beautiful is waiting for us beyond our fears &10024The work is created in the traditional Ukrainian folk art style of Petrykivka painting using a plant stem( rohozynka) and a brush ma

I was in my 20s in the 1980s. As a young man of the age it was a wonderful decade to be out and about in town. I was someone who bought the clothes of the era and would get my hair styled and coloured regularly. The reason I chose this subject was as a form of tribute to the age and my involvement in it.

This painting was created from a time in life that forced me to slow down. After suffering a knee injury, I suddenly found myself unable to move through life at the crazy pace I was used to. In that stillness, I returned to painting, something I hadn't truly connected with for a long time and I rediscovered both comfort, peace and purpose in creativity. The loch at the heart of our village has always been a place of reflection, calm, and connection for our community. Its changing skies, quiet

Title or Location: ?Safe Place?
?Safe Place? is a story about a home that is not always given from birth but can sometimes be created with your own hands. As a child, there was a deep lack of safety and of a family where love exists without conditions, where people support and stay beside one another even in the darkest moments.Over the years, it became clear that a true family is not only about blood ties, but about a space where a person is protected, heard, and accepted as they are. That feeling was finally found

I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.

I am Tracey, a self-taught artist from Plymouth, UK, I have been developing my coloured pencil techniques for the past year . My aim is always to capture not only the likeness of an animal but also the personality and spirit that make them so special to the people who love them.In this piece, Colin is shown resting amongst a vibrant meadow of wildflowers, his striking green eyes drawing the viewer in. The detailed fur work, delicate whiskers, and colourful floral surroundings were all carefull
